Thief Steals 88-Year-Old Woman's Wallet In Queens old Navy: NYPD

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for the sticky-fingered thief who managed to swipe an 88-year-old woman's wallet from her purse inside a Queens Old Navy.

The elderly woman was browsing the clothing racks of the chain retailer's Jackson Heights location at 37-50 82nd Street on the afternoon of March 31 when an unidentified woman reached into her purse, police said.

The pickpocket repeatedly made grabs inside the woman's purse before successfully fishing out her wallet - along with the $60 inside - and fleeing the store, cops said.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect, shown wearing a black hat and leather jacket inside the crowded store.
