Hooded Thief Robs Jackson Heights HSBC Bank, Police Say
The perp fled the bank on 37th Avenue with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- Police are searching for the thief who held up a Jackson Heights bank and fled with an unknown amount of cash.
The man walked into an HSBC Bank at the corner of 37th Avenue and 77th Street at around 1:15 p.m. last Friday and passed a teller a note demanding money, cops said.
The teller obeyed, handing over the undetermined amount of cash before the robber fled the bank, heading west on 37th Avenue, authorities said.

The NYPD on Monday released surveillance photos of the perp, who police described as a man around 45 - 50 years old, standing about 5 feet tall and weighing roughly 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans, light colored shoes and a beige baseball cap.
