Man Robbed, Thrown Against Fence In Elmhurst: NYPD
The thief made off with $600 and several of his credit cards, police say.

ELMHURST, QUEENS -- Police are searching for the thief that stole $600 from a man after slamming him against a fence in Elmhurst in broad daylight.
The 25-year-old man was standing in front of 40-22 Ithaca St. on April 29 at around 3:50 p.m. when the perp shoved him into the metal fence and knocked him off his feet, police said.
The thief then stole the man's wallet, which held the $600 cash and several of his credit cards, before fleeing south on Ithaca Street, cops said.

The NYPD on Wednesday released surveillance photos of the man, who police described as around 20 years old, standing at about 5-foot-6 and weighing roughly 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a white stripe on the hood and a red backpack.
