Ocasio-Cortez 'Stalker' Sentenced To 60 Days In Jail

A South Jamaica man arrested for stalking U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will spend 60 days in jail, a judge ruled Friday.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS — A Queens man arrested for stalking U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will spend 60 days in jail, a judge ruled Friday.

South Jamaica resident Douala Hashi, 31, was accused of flouting an order of protection by visiting Ocasio-Cortez's Jackson Heights office, according to news reports.

Hashi pleaded guilty Friday to criminal contempt, the Queens Daily Eagle reported.

The judge also issued full order of protection preventing Hashi from approaching the congresswoman, according to the Eagle.

Hashi was previously arrested for trespassing in the building where Ocasio-Cortez has her office.
