Queens Early Voting 2019: What You Need To Know
This will be the first time Queens residents will be able to vote early. Here's what New Yorkers need to know.
QUEENS — For the first time, this year Queens residents will be able to cast their votes early.
Designated locations across the five boroughs will open their doors to voters on nine days before Election Day on Nov. 5, thanks to new election legislation signed into law in January.

When can we vote early?
The Board of Elections will hold early voting sessions on the following nine days:
- Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Do we need to be registered to vote?
Yes, the registration deadline was Oct. 11.
Will we receive the same ballot as on Election Day?
Yes.
Can we still vote absentee?
Yes. Registered voters can vote absentee by requesting an absentee ballot by mail, postmarked by Oct. 29, and completing the ballot before Election Day.
