Jackson Heights Subway Brawl Leads To Teen's Stabbing: Police
Police are looking for two other teens involved in the fight.
CORONA, NY — A teenage boy was stabbed in the neck last week during a fight that started at a Jackson Heights subway station, police said. Cops say they're looking for two other teens involved in the brawl, one of whom was allegedly the stabber.
The 15-year-old victim got into a fight with the two other boys around 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 25 following a dispute at the Junction Boulevard 7 train stop, the NYPD said. The trio eventually left the station and continued the fight nearby around 98th Street and 37th Avenue in North Corona, police said.
It was there that one of the other teens stabbed the 15-year-old in the neck with a sharp object before the pair fled on foot, cops said. The boy was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Elmhurst in serious but stable condition, the NYPD said.
