St. Albans Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded: NYPD
A 33-year-old man was shot and killed while sitting in an Audi SUV on Sunday night, police said.

ST. ALBANS, QUEENS — A shooting in St. Albans on Sunday night left one man dead and another critically wounded, police said. An unknown shooter fired into the 2012 Audi SUV in which the two men were sitting near the corner of 114th Drive and 196th Street, the NYPD said.
Cops responded to a 911 call around 10:15 p.m. and found one of the men, 33-year-old Donald Francis of Rockaway Park, in the driver's seat with gunshot wounds to his head and chest, police said. Francis was pronounced dead at the scene, the NYPD said.
The other man, 31, was a passenger in the front seat but was found behind the SUV with gunshot wounds to his chest and legs, according to police. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical but stable condition, the NYPD said.

The shooting is still under investigation and no one has been arrested, police said.
