Wig-Clad Gunman Jailed For Robbing Queens Pharmacy Twice: Report
The Jamaica man's getup allegedly included a wig, red lipstick and a .380 caliber handgun, authorities said.

JAMAICA ESTATES, QUEENS -- A Queens man is behind bars after he allegedly donned a wig, red lipstick and a .380 caliber handgun to rob the same Jamaica Estates pharmacy twice in a month.
Jacquan Mark Stroud was arraigned in Brooklyn Federal Court on Saturday for the robberies of Aly-Marc Pharmacy, said John Marzulli, a spokesman for the Eastern District of New York. The Jamaica man is accused of raiding the pharmacy twice for thousands of dollars in prescription pills and cash while pointing a handgun at its co-owners, according to the complaint.
Cops arrested Stroud a day earlier in the Jamaica Center subway station, where they found 138 oxycodone pills in his pockets along with a .380 caliber handgun that Stroud later admitted he'd used to rob the pharmacy at 179-41 Hillside Ave., authorities said.

Clad in sunglasses and a wig during the first hold up on Dec. 19, Stroud allegedly pointed the handgun at the pharmacy's 63-year-old owner and placed a black duffel bag on the counter in front of him, demanding the owner fill it with all the oxycodone and promethazine in the store, the complaint states.
He then allegedly made the owner hand over all the cash in his register and $3,600 from his own pockets before running from the store and into a nearby subway station, authorities said. Surveillance footage captured by the NYPD showed a man believed to be Stroud entering an F train at 179th and Hillside Ave. station, where cops later found his wig and sunglasses, according to the complaint.

Authorities believe it was Stroud who again robbed the same pharmacy at gunpoint nearly a month later on Jan. 18 - This time adding red lipstick to his disguise.
According to the complaint, Stroud who "appeared to be female" allegedly pulled out a handgun inside the pharmacy and demanded its 57-year-old co-owner fill a backpack with all the store's medicine containing codeine along with the $3,000 that was in the register.
After collecting the drugs and money, Stroud allegedly tied the pharmacy's co-owner up in a back room with zip ties and repeatedly bashed his head with the handgun, authorities said. He then allegedly ran from the store and ditched his wig at a nearby subway station, which police later found.
Cops eventually tracked Stroud down by reviewing Metrocard usage at the subway stops he was caught on tape entering, authorities said. They discovered he regularly frequented the Jamaica Center subway station, where cops ultimately arrested him, according to the complaint.
A judge ordered Stroud be held without bail at his arraignment for the robberies on Jan. 27. His next court date has not yet been set, Marzulli said.
