House Fire In Kings Park Under Investigation: Chief
Fire on Broadview Avenue was reported Sunday evening; multiple departments responded, officials said
KINGS PARK, NY — The Kings Park Fire Department responded to a house fire on Broadview Avenue Sunday evening, according to the Suffolk County Fire Marshal’s Office.
Firefighters were dispatched to a residence at 112 Broadview Avenue at approximately 5:25 p.m., officials said. The fire was brought under control by 6:05 p.m.
According to Kings Park Fire Department Chief Phil Carroll, Assistant Chief Thomas Jacino was the first firefighter to arrive on scene and encountered a working fire at the home.

Firefighters from the Smithtown Fire Department, Commack Fire Department, Northport Fire Department, and East Northport Fire Department assisted at the scene. Commack Ambulance provided standby coverage during the incident.
The fire was fully under control, and all units were released by 7 p.m., Carroll said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Town of Smithtown Fire Marshal’s Office and the Suffolk County Police Arson Squad, officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
