Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade: Everything You Need To Know
From the parade route to date and time, as well as road closures, here's what you should know about the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
KINGS PARK, NY — The Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for noon Saturday.
The parade will step off at the corner of Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road, continue down Main Street, turn onto Church Street, and end down Old Dock Road at the William T. Rogers Middle School, according to the parade website.
The parade features numerous bagpipe bands, floats, hundreds of marching community organizations, and a tribute to a grand marshal who has made great contributions to the Kings Park Community.

Michael Lacey is set to serve as the 2023 grand marshal.
Some road closures are expected before, during and after the parade, Suffolk police said.

Pulaski Road will be closed between Old Commack Road and Route 25A, and Cedar Avenue and Lou
Avenue will be closed from 9:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Route 25A will be closed between Country Lane Drive and Lawrence Road, Old Dock Road will be
closed between Route 25A and Flynn Drive, and Indian Head Road will be closed between Meadow
Road and Hilden Street from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., police said.
The Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade, held on the first Saturday of March every year, was founded in 2011 by a group of Kings Park citizens to celebrate the Irish cultural roots of Kings Parkers.
"Thousands of Kings Parkers and people from surrounding communities turn out on Main Street to see Irish eyes smiling with Kings Park Pride!" the parade's site stated.
