Here is what you need to know about the upcoming parade.
KINGS PARK, NY — The Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for noon Saturday.
The parade steps off in front of Celtic Crossing on the corner of Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road, continues down Main Street, turns onto Church Street, and ends in front of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.
The parade features numerous bagpipe bands, floats, hundreds of marching community organizations, and a tribute to a grand marshal who has made great contributions to the Kings Park Community. This year's grand marshals are Charles Gardner and Commander Diane Gardner.

The Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade is held on the first Saturday of March every year. The parade was founded in 2011 by Kevin "The Professor" Denis, the owner of Professor's Diner in Kings Park, according to the parade website.
Thousands of people typically turn out for the parade. The Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade was not held in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
