Kings Park Students Named as Commended National Merit Scholars

Three Kings Park students have been recognized by the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Corporation. 

Michael Adams, Bhavani Ananthabhotla and Jacob Reichman have been named Commended students in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship program. These three students are among 34,000 commended students across the nation being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. 

Although they will not be continuing on to compete for college scholarship, commended students are among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 Preliminary/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
