3-Week-Long Sewer Project Will Alter Traffic Patterns In Mamaroneck
The active work zone will have only one lane open with alternating traffic between Wood Street and Hampshire Road.

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — A 3-week-long sewer project in the Village of Mamaroneck might have commuters considering alternate routes, starting Friday.
Green Mountain Pipeline Services will begin the sewer repair work on Grove Street. between North Barry Avenue and West Street, ahead of the weekend. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The active work zone will have only one lane open with alternating traffic between Wood Street and Hampshire Road.
Flaggers will direct traffic during work hours. Detours and no parking signs will be posted. The rest of Grove Street will have regular traffic and parking rules with both lanes open. The construction and altered traffic pattern is expected to be in place for approximately 3 weeks.

Although Grove Street will remain open, drivers and residents around Grove Street can expect traffic as well as construction and detour signs while this work is ongoing. Driving and parking in this area may be difficult, according to village officials
