Bedford Hill's Correctional Facility Release Bags Program
The Woman's Club of Larchmont, Inc. to donate to Interfaith Prison Partnership program

Elizabeth Friend-Ennis, President of the Board of Interfaith Prison Partnerships (IPP), introduced the members of The Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc. to the organization and the work they do to support incarcerated individuals. IPP is a community-based, interfaith non-profit organization that exists to increase awareness of the inherent value of incarcerated individuals, promote and provide for their welfare, and connect local communities with their neighbors behind bars.
Carolyn Gallaher, Chair of the Philanthropy Committee, explained how the Club will be participating in IPP's Release Bags Program at the Bedford Hill's Woman's Facility. Often the women are released from prison with little to no essential items, not even a toothbrush. This program provides personal care items upon their release. The members will be donating items or cash during February - April Club meetings.
