Community Food Drive Supports Hope Food Pantry

The Woman's Club of Larchmont, Inc. Continues its 100 years of Philanthropy, Service & Fellowship

The Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc. had a successful Community Food Drive on May 31, 2025 to benefit the Hope Food Pantry in New Rochelle. Gerry Gerace, Zsuzsanna Baan-Jonas, Georgie Jesse, members of the Club’s Philanthropy Committee, along with Chair Carolyn Gallaher, received enough donations to fill two car trunks. Among the 327 assorted food items donated were 37 pasta packages and 66 tuna and salmon cans. Diapers, an always needed item, totaled almost 900 along with a number of packets of wipes. Monetary donations received assist the Pantry in purchasing needed items not donated.
The Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc. supports civic and philanthropic organizations that contribute to the betterment of the community. The Club appreciates the continued support of the community. Another opportunity to participate in the Club’s food drive will be in November.
