The Days May be Short, But It's Time To 'Light Up Larchmont'
It'll be a while before Santa is ready to pack his sleigh full of toys for children. In the meantime, we can help out and cram the cruiser.
LARCHMONT, NY — When it comes to holiday excitement, the North Pole ain't got nothing on Larchmont this weekend.
It is almost time for the 9th Annual Light Up Larchmont, sponsored by the Larchmont Professional Firefighters Association and the Larchmont Police Benevolent Association.
The festivities will take place this Saturday, from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., at 120 Larchmont Avenue, rain or shine.

This year's event will take place both indoors and outdoors with all of the favorites from years past. Back by popular demand, there will be pictures with Santa inside the firehouse as well as both indoor and outdoor photo booths.
There will also be arts and crafts, music provided by Noo Moves Entertainment, the annual tree lighting at 5:15 p.m., followed by a viewing of Frosty's Winter Wonderland at 5:30 p.m. in Constitution Park.

Hot cocoa, candy canes, munchkin donuts and other treats will be provided by local businesses like Starbucks and Tequila Sunrise.
The Larchmont Professional Firefighters Association and the Larchmont PBA said, "We look forward to seeing everyone there to start the Holiday season off with a bang!"
The Larchmont PBA will also be holding a "Cram the Cruiser" toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots this holiday season. You can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the police station or bring them to Light Up Larchmont for donation.
