Despite Snow, Business as Usual in Larchmont and Mamaroneck

Though many area districts cancelled school Tuesday, children boarded buses and arrived in class as usual in Larchmont and Mamaroneck.

Both the Larchmont and Mamaroneck Public Libraries are open regular hours, through 6 p.m. Tuesday. On Wednesday at Larchmont, “Man of Steel” will be screened as part of the library’s Movie Matinee program.

The Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commisson is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the VFW lodge located at 1288 Boston Post Road in Larchmont.

In a big week for local teens involved in the arts, the Mamaroneck High School Band Ensemble Concert will be held in McLain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

There’s no change to scheduled programs at the White Plains YMCA.
