Desserts In Color: Bakery To The TikTok Stars To Open In Westchester

LARCHMONT, NY — The cookie company that has taken social media in a storm of vibrant colors will soon offer an IRL chance to satisfy your aesthetic needs and your sweet tooth.

Baked in Color, with an international reputation for its rainbow chocolate chip cookies and other colorful treats, is opening its first Westchester location in Larchmont. The bakery with a signature burst of rainbow colors isn't just a sensation among social media influencers; the bakery has caught the attention of Good Morning America, The Today Show and The Thrillist. Timeout New York voted Baked in Color the top Instagrammable dessert.

In addition to being a one-stop-shop for all things colorful and delicious, including jumbo cookies, giant "brookies," Baked in Color will offer a gallery-worthy "immersive rainbow environment," including a cookie art wall installation and a giant rainbow mirror designed by Lauren Sydney Events and White Light Photograph. And of course, the signature custom-designed rainbow cookie car, designed by Corey Paige Designs, will be parked in front of the shop.

"We are so excited to launch in Larchmont," founder Julie Dugoff Waxman said. "As a Westchester resident myself, I am excited to bring our happy treats into this community."

Waxman said the mission of Baked in Color is to "spread happiness with our colorful and delicious treats." Inspired by a trending rainbow craze and as a natural progression of success with a college cookie business, Waxman, seized an opportunity in the dessert market and Baked in Color was born.

Baked in Color fans (and social media influencer hopefuls) outside of Westchester will still be able to enjoy their favorite colorful treats, as the company will continue to ship their delicious baked-to-order treats nationwide through Goldbelly.

Initial IRL store hours will be from Wednesday to Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.
