Officers were soon alerted that the vehicle was heading back into the Village of Mamaroneck on Boston Post Road. Village of Mamaroneck police found the vehicle exiting the McDonald's parking lot located on Boston Post Road.

Arroyo was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

The police departments in Nevada and Illinois told police here that they would be filing extradition charges to pick up Arroyo.

Arroyo was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections on a fugitive of justice warrant.
