Westchester County Mobile Shredder Event

The Mobile Shredder will be returning to Mamaroneck on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Maxwell Avenue Recycling Facility (40 Maxwell Avenue, Larchmont, NY 10538) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Yard Waste Collection – Begins April 4, 2024

Please be advised that the Sanitation Commission will resume organic waste collection on Thursday, April 4, 2024. As a friendly reminder, please do not place your yard waste curbside until the night before your assigned collection date. Organic material that is put out too early will not be picked up and will need to be cleaned up and bundled again by the property owner if impacted by bad weather prior to its collection.

Compost Giveaway Day

On Saturday, April 13, 2024 the Sanitation Commission will be hosting the annual Compost Giveaway Day from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Maxwell Avenue Recycling Facility (40 Maxwell Avenue, Larchmont, NY 10538).

Annual Spring/Earth Day Cleanup

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Town will be hosting the annual spring cleanup, in honor of Earth Day, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please pre-register with the Sustainability Coordinator at 914-381-7816 or sodierna@townofmamaroneckny.org.
