Get STEM-Ready For STEM Alliance's 8th Annual 'STEM-tastic' Festival
Experiences like coding robots with MakeInspires, pilot lessons with Drone Cadets or exploring the microworld on the Biobus are in store.

LARCHMONT, NY — What families remember most about the STEM-tastic Festival each year is that the event was a blast, but this good time could end up causing side effects, like a lifelong curiosity, a thirst for learning and a compulsion for exploration.
The STEM Alliance's highly anticipated STEM-tastic event, a free, annual festival which brings Science, Technology, Engineering & Math to life, will be back again this year on Friday, May 10. The festival will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont. For the second year in a row, Veolia is a STEM-tastic Platinum Sponsor.
Marking its eighth year, the organizers say that STEM-tastic aims to deliver enjoyment and learning for all ages, empowering children and families to explore STEM disciplines through diverse challenges. Attendees will take part in over 40 expert-led experiences like coding robots with MakeInspires, pilot lessons with Drone Cadets, exploring the microworld on the Biobus and stitching with Sew Fun 4 Kids. The STEM Alliance says that this evening festival redefines STEM learning, inspiring kids to explore, create and innovate.
