The Future Filmmaker Project provides aspiring teen filmmakers one of their first paid opportunities in film. The program was conceived to offer a critical step for the young artists to understand their value.

Under the guidance of LMC staff, the experience allows the students to share their voices in sometimes unexpected, but always remarkable and touching ways. The program also serves to give the community insight into the teenage perspective: how they think, what they care about, and how they see the world around them, according to the organization.
