Hope Food Pantry Benefits from Community Food Drive

Stamping their feet to keep the blood circulation and their feet warm, on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, Zsuzsanna Baan-Jonas, Carolyn Gallaher, Georgia Jesse and Deidre Winter (joined briefly by Mary Ann McMazza), members of the Philanthropy Committee of the Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc., greeted donors and helped unload the cars of those bringing dozens of items needed by the Hope Food Pantry in New Rochelle.
Not only were there 123 so needed diapers (of various sizes) but also over 140 items given including, 24 boxes and cans of pasta meals, 24 cans of beans matched by an equal number of packages of rice, 16 cans of tuna and salmon (which when combined rice or pasta can provide a meal for a small family), 10 cans of vegetables, 12 soups, 11 boxes of cereal and oatmeal along with toilet paper, Parmalat milk, jars of sauces and peanut butter. Zsuzsanna drove her very full car to Hope Food Pantry in New Rochelle afterwards.
The Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc. supports civic and philanthropic organizations that contribute to the betterment of the community. The Club appreciates the continued support of the community. Thank you.
