Mamaroneck Avenue Roadwork Means 'No Parking' And Congestion This Week

No parking will be permitted on a stretch of Mamaroneck Ave. this week while milling and paving work is completed.

MAMARONECK, NY — Street parking will be a little harder to come by in a busy Mamaroneck corridor for the next few days.

The Village of Mamaroneck announced that the Westchester County Department of Public Works will be performing milling and paving work on Mamaroneck Ave. from the Metro-North Railroad Bridge to the North Barry Extension in both directions, and no parking will be permitted in that stretch, from 6 a.m. on Wednesday until 6 p.m. on Friday.

The construction work is expected to take place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., from Wednesday until Friday.

There will lane closures and traffic due to the work so drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes. The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department will be present to ensure safety.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
