Mamaroneck FBLA Community Service Contributions

Mamaroneck FBLA Gives Back to the Community

Throughout this past year, Mamaroneck FBLA has worked to make numerous contributions to our community. Our chapter completed a community service project in which they collaborated with the Larchmont Hunger Task Force. One act of service Mamaroneck FBLA carried out was helping to reconstruct the communities impacted by the flood in October of 2023. Members helped with distributions and packaging on November 18th 2023, for a Mamaroneck FBLA Volunteer Day. Members fed about 500 individuals/ families through their packaging of greater than eight hundred grocery bags. The bags were delivered to individuals living in the local community.

In addition to the volunteer day, Mamaroneck FBLA held a cleaning supply drive and a bake sale. In order to provide families affected by the flood with essential housing supplies, members collected the donations that students and community members made from December 11th to December 15th. This event was closed with a bake sale fundraiser on Friday, December 15th, consisting of baked goods provided by FBLA members.
