MAMARONECK, NY — If you have a a bone to pick or a compliment to give Metro North, it might be worth heading to the train station early in the morning.

On Thursday morning, from 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., you will have the chance to meet and chat with Metro-North executives at the Mamaroneck train station. They will be gathered by Track 3, near the entrance to the New York-bound platforms and will be ready to hear your thoughts, concerns and suggestions about the transit lines. The event is part of Metro-North's series of informal customer forums.

The railroad started the program in 2014, hosting forums at various locations across its service territory to provide an opportunity for senior Metro-North leaders to hear directly from customers and to foster an open dialogue with customers about service and progress on major issues. The "Connect With Us" program was temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, but was reinstated in November of 2021.

"Our ‘Connect With Us’ outreach events provide the perfect opportunity for our customers to let us know what matters to them, and for Metro-North leadership to let our customers know what we’re doing to improve safety, service reliability, and customer communications," Metro-North President Catherine Rinaldi said when the program was reinstated.
