Never Tell Me The Odds: Mamaroneck Man Claims $1M Lottery Prize Again

The Powerball winner received less than a cool $1M after opting for a one-time lump sum payment and required withholdings were deducted.

MAMARONECK, NY — A Westchester County man claimed his $1M Powerball prize this week, but that isn't even the most interesting part of the story.

Thomas Lombardo of Mamaroneck has claimed a $1,000,000 second prize for matching the first five Powerball numbers drawn on November 19. The winning numbers were: 03-19-21-40-48 and a Powerball 02.

Lombardo opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment of $651,002, after required withholdings. The winning ticket was purchased at SK Variety on Mamaroneck Ave. in Mamaroneck.
