New NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Facility Opens On Boston Post Road

LARCHMONT, NY — We may have to drive a little farther to buy scented candles, but, believe it or not, the closing of Pier 1 might end up being good for our health in the long run.

NewYork-Presbyterian announced that it continues to expand in Westchester with its very first location on the Sound Shore. A new 6,045-square-foot medical facility, located at 1329 West Boston Post Road at the site of the former Pier 1 store in Larchmont, is ready for patients. The healthcare giant said the strategic location expands NewYork-Presbyterian access for patients in Larchmont, New Rochelle, Mamaroneck and Rye.

A team of board-certified doctors from NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester and specialists from Columbia, the faculty practice of Columbia University Irving Medical Center, are housed at the new facility. The complex has primary care physicians along with specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, orthopedics and urology. Plans are in the works to expand specialties available, including orthopedics and x-ray services.

The healthcare group said the new offices are more than just convenient, featuring a contemporary design and comfortable environment for both patients and physicians.
