Repeat Deli Burglar Arrested For Breaking Into Mamaroneck Deli: Cops
A Connecticut man already charged with breaking into a West Harrison deli now faces charges for a remarkably similar crime in Mamaroneck.

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — A Connecticut man already charged with breaking into a West Harrison deli is now facing charges for a remarkably similar crime in Mamaroneck.
The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department says that on November 17, shortly before 2 a.m., they received a complaint about a broken front door window at Sage Deli, on Palmer Ave. Officers who responded to the scene found that the business had been burglarized.
On December 1, in collaboration with the Harrison Police Department, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department identified a suspect in the break-in as 36-year-old Cesar Salazar-Duque of Port Chester, formerly of Greenwich.

Salazar-Duque is also suspected in a Nov. 15 West Harrison commercial burlgary where he smashed the front glass door of a deli/food market and stole cash and lottery tickets, according to Harrison police. He was been charged with felony third degree burglary and felony third degree criminal mischief in that case. Salazar-Duque was remanded to the Westchester County Jail due to his prior felony convictions, Harrison police said last week.

On Thursday, Dec. 7, Salazar-Duque was arrested and charged with felony third degree burglary and felony third degree criminal mischief in the Mamaroneck case. He was arraigned in the Village of Mamaroneck Court and was again remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections due to his prior felony convictions and for being a fugitive from pending criminal charges in Connecticut, Village of Mamaroneck police said.
