See Which Hudson Valley Restaurants Earned 2024 Wine Spectator Awards

2 HV restaurants won the coveted Grand Award, while 8 were Best of Award of Excellence winners and 17 were Award of Excellence recipients.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — While metro areas like New York City and Paris, or high-profile wine-growing regions like Napa and the Loire Valley, usually get all the attention, our region is gaining recognition among oenophiles.

Wine Spectator just unveiled the 2024 Restaurant Awards winners, which honor the world's best restaurants for wines. This year's awards program recognized 3,777 dining destinations from all 50 states and in more than 75 countries worldwide.

"The restaurant industry is growing and thriving, with restaurant openings surpassing pre-pandemic levels for the first time," said Marvin Shanken, the editor and publisher of Wine Spectator. "To take advantage of the uptick, restaurateurs are investing in their wine programs. Restaurants that make wine a priority are what the Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards program is all about."
