Spring District Meeting FBLA 2024

On February 9, 2024, the FBLA Spring District Meeting took place at Mamaroneck High School. There were approximately 75 people present traveling from various schools including Mamaroneck, Hendrick Hudson, Horace Mann, Eastchester, Lakeland, Roosevelt, Early College Studies High School Dominican Academy, and FASNY. During the meeting, FBLA members had the opportunity to listen to keynote speakers discussing essential factors of working in a business. Following the speech, members visited three different workshops where they learned from keynote speakers more about becoming business leaders. They learned about banking and the importance of risk management in a business. While these workshops were occurring, members took tests and interviews as preliminary events. Overall, SDM was a great opportunity for FBLA members to enhance their FBLA skills and knowledge of business. It was also an efficient and productive meeting in which preparatory events for SLC could be accomplished.
