Traffic Advisory: Boston Post Road Lane Closures Overnight Wednesday
The night work on U.S. Rte 1 is scheduled for sewer installation, as part of the massive public works project in the Village of Mamaroneck.
VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — The bridge work on Boston Post Road over the Mamaroneck River is progressing nicely by all reports, but tonight, that progress will require patience (and a detour).
The New York State Department of Transportation announced that one lane of US Route 1 (Boston Post Road) northbound and southbound will be closed between Mamaroneck Ave. and Spruce St. in the Village of Mamaroneck, overnight Wednesday.
The night work for sewer installation will take place between 10 p.m. on Wednesday through 6 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The Village of Mamaroneck thanked residents and travelers through the area for their patience during the construction work. They said that while they are inconvenient, the lane closures are necessary.
