Traffic Alert: Brand New Hutch Lane Closures Start This Week
Braking: The mid-day roadwork will stretch from Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Ave.) on the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Connecticut border.
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is once again warning drivers about possible delays on the Hutch this week.
The NYSDOT said that one lane of the Hutch, both northbound and southbound, is expected to close between Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Ave.) and the Connecticut State Line, for construction work.
The closures will take place Monday, July 11 through Thursday, July 14, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., weather permitting, according to the agency.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a drivers license suspension.
