UPDATE: The work originally scheduled for Friday has been rescheduled to Monday.

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — When summer construction season is in full swing, sometimes there's no avoiding work zones — in this case, however, the inconvenience is expected to be short-lived.

On Friday Monday, Old Boston Post Road will be closed to through traffic for roadwork. The construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Old Boston Post Road will only be opened to local traffic and there may be temporary closures for brief periods throughout the day, according to village officials.

Parking will not be permitted during the construction hours.
