VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — Illegal drug sales were taking place, hidden in plain sight, according to village authorities.

The Village of Mamaroneck Police and Building Departments say that they have concluded an investigation into an illegal smoke shop, the F&A Convenience Store located on Mamaroneck Avenue. As a result of the investigation, one person has been arrested and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance and unlawful sale of cannabis.

The investigation led to the conclusion that the smoke shop was operating in violation of NYS cannabis laws and violating the Village of Mamaroneck ordinance on cannabis sales, which was creating a persistent public nuisance, according to authorities.
