Victim In Fatal Sprain Crash ID'd As 23-Year-Old From Mamaroneck

A good Samaritan from nearby Westchester Medical Center attempted lifesaving techniques until paramedics arrived.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Authorities have identified the victim of a high speed crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway this weekend.

New York State Police said that Logan E. Spillane, 23, of Mamaroneck died as a result of the crash.

On Saturday, troopers responded to the fatal crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Investigators believe that the 1999 Lexus RX300 driven by Spillane, at high speeds, while attempting to pass several vehicles, made contact with a 2004 Toyota Camry in the southbound left lane. Spillane lost control and the vehicle rolled over several times. He was ejected from the Lexus.
