Village Of Mamaroneck Fire Department To Host Open House

MAMARONECK, NY — The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department will hold a special event to increase volunteer participation in the fire service.

In conjunction with the Firefighters Association of the Stae of New York’s Annual Recruit NY initiative, the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14.

The public can stop by to learn more about the fire department, the services that it provides and how someone can be a part of this vital organization.

During the open house, people will have the opportunity to tour the apparatuses, see equipment demos and, most importantly, speak with members from all walks of life who give time to serving.

Those interested in joining will be able to fill out interest forms and learn more about the training they would receive once elected into the organization.

The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department is located at 146 Palmer Ave.
