Westchester CityMD Clinics Reopen After Temporary Closures
The Mamaroneck and Eastchester locations are again open after the company consolidated operations in Westchester due to staffing issues.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Two busy Westchester County WebMD urgent care centers, which were temporarily closed as the omicron variant-fueled surge in COVID-19 cases hit, have reopened to patients, the New Jersey-based company said.
The move to reopen the clinics comes as the COVID-19 positivity rate in New York has started to ebb. New York's positivity rate has declined to 13.12 percent, NBC News reported this week.
Shortly before Christmas, CityMD announced the temporary closure of about two dozen locations in New York and New Jersey, including the clinic in Eastchester. A later announcement, just before the new year, announced the temporary closing of nearly a dozen additional clinics, including the Larchmont clinic.

"Continuing to provide these services to the community is a top priority; however, our physicians and teammates are also a priority," the company said at the time. "To preserve our ability to staff our sites, we are temporarily closing certain locations effective Wednesday, December 29. It is our hope that closing sites now will best allow us to avoid future closures as this surge continues."
