WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — If you have trouble agreeing on where to pick up dinner, a new Larchmont business might have just solved a problem for you.

A new concept food hall that will allow diners to choose dishes from fine dining restaurants led by celebrity chefs is opening its first Westchester location at 1298 Boston Post Road, in Larchmont, on Thursday.

Wonder, the decidedly different kind of food hall with a "fast fine" dining, delivery-first concept, says that it features some of the world’s best chefs, including Bobby Flay, Jose Andres, Nancy Silverton, Marcus Samuelsson, along with award-winning restaurants from across the country, including Tejas Barbeque and Di Fara Pizza.

Now, you can grab food from your favorite New York City chefs and restaurants, even when it's a work from home day. (Wonder Group)

Customers will be able to order any combination of these chefs and restaurants all together in one order from a single location. Everything is made-to-order at the Wonder storefront and delivered to your door in under 30 minutes, allowing the company "to bring an elevated, curated dining experience to you every time."

While the store focuses on quick delivery of an eclectic range of fine dining options, pick-up and limited dine-in options will also be available.

The Grand Opening at Wonder Larchmont will be celebrated at 10:25 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. The first 100 customers will get a $15 meal voucher and a prize wheel will give the first guests a chance to win exclusive Wonder swag and "Wonder Cash." Samples from Limesalt, Bobby Flay Steakhouse, Maydan and Tejas BBQ will be available for tasting. The event will wrap up at 5 p.m.

Wonder Larchmont will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The location will offer dishes from offers 15+ restaurants, including: Alanza, Alanza Pizza, Bobby Flay Steak, Burger Baby, Detroit Pizza, Di Fara Pizza, Fred’s Meat & Bread, Limesalt, Mainstay by Marc Murphy, Room for Dessert, Royal Greens, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Tejas Barbecue, Wing Trip, and Yasas by Michael Symon. They will soon add Maydan and Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman.

The delivery zone for the Larchmont location includes the following nearby zip codes: 10528, 10538, 10543, 10580, 10583, 10605, 10709, 10801, 10804, 10805.

Two other Westchester County locations are scheduled to open this summer, which will further expand the delivery zone: West Harrison (105 Corporate Park Drive) and Scarsdale (654 Central Park Avenue).

The company has a Wonder+ membership program that includes no delivery fees on all Wonder orders, Fast Pass expedited delivery and pickup and exclusive access to promotions, experiences and perks, all for $7.99 per month.

Wonder currently operates 12 locations throughout New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and plans to have 35 locations by the end of the year.

Wonder is owned by Wonder Group, a consortium founded in 2018 by entrepreneur and former Walmart e-commerce head Marc Lore. He founded the e-commerce startup Jet.com, which he sold to Walmart for $3.3 billion in 2016. Last September, the Wonder Group acquired the meal kit delivery service Blue Apron for $103 million. The company recently received $100 million in backing from Nestle, according to CNBC, as part of a move to enter the high-end kitchen appliance market.
