13 Cars Broken Into Last Week in Nassau

Nassau County Police say sunglasses, cash, and laptops were among the items stolen from cars nearby.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • May 10: Alton Road, West Hempstead; wallet stolen.
  • May 13: Washington Avenue, Mineola; handicap permit stolen.
  • May 14: Sylvan Place, Valley Stream; hard drive, wallet stolen with MTA ID, credit cards, and social security card.
  • May 14: Orleans Road, Valley Stream; center console box.
  • May 14: Hempstead Gardens Drive, West Hempstead; pocketbook stolen.
  • May 14: Dubois Avenue, Valley Stream; two pairs of woman’s sunglasses stolen.
  • May 14: Merrick Avenue, Merrick; duffle bag containing cash, N. Bellmore Fire Department pager, phone, tablet stolen.
  • May 15: Maitland Street, East Meadow; drivers side window broken, Rolex watch stolen.
  • May 16: Satterie Avenue, Valley Stream; license plate stolen from company trailer.
  • May 16: Old Country Road parking lot, Carle Place; Galaxy II tablet and cash stolen.
  • May 16: Perry Avenue, Oceanside; three pairs of sunglasses stolen from glove box.
  • May 17: Northern Boulevard, Manhasset; rear left window smashed, Macbook Pro laptop stolen.
  • May 20: Kayron Lane, North Bellmore; Kindle stolen.
