2 Teens Display Knife, Rob 7-Eleven In Bethpage: Police
They will be arraigned at Nassau County Family Court, police say.
BETHPAGE, NY — Two teenagers were arrested after a robbery with a knife at a 7-Eleven in Bethpage, police said.
The teens, ages 14 and 15, entered the Stewart Avenue store on Friday afternoon, selecting various items and leaving without paying, police said.
They were approached outside by a 50-year-old male employee. The 15-year-old displayed a knife and made threats to the victim, authorities said.

The teenagers fled toward the nearby train tracks. After a thorough investigation, officers located them and they were placed into custody without incident, police said.
The 15-year-old is charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal trespass, police said.
