
Douglas Black, a resident of Levittown, has been awarded a $1,000 “Family Scholarship” from NEFCU, a leading credit union serving all Long Island’s banking needs, to fund his college education.
The NEFCU Scholarship Committee recognized eight high school students from Long Island schools for their outstanding academic achievements and valued service to the community.
The scholarship opportunity was open to all graduating high school seniors. The students were selected out of 116 applicants and chosen based on high school averages, school activities, community service transcripts and personal essays.
