Crash Briefly Closes Lane On Wantagh State Parkway
Police vehicles were seen responding to the crash on a traffic camera just before 10 a.m. Friday.
LEVITTOWN, NY. — The right lane and shoulder on the southbound side of the Wantagh State Parkway were closed by an accident Friday morning, according to 511 updates and traffic camera images captured at 9:51 a.m. The accident occurred near exit W3E, which connects to the Hempstead Turnpike traveling toward Farmingdale.
By 10:15 a.m., 511 information indicated that traffic had returned to normal along the stretch of road. Traffic cameras captured a white vehicle being towed from the scene.
