Bristal Assisted Living Opens New Bethpage Facility
The new facility has more than 150 apartments for seniors who no longer want to live on their own.

BETHPAGE, NY — The Bristal Assisted Living has opened a 24th facility, with its newest location in Bethpage opening to renters.
The new facility, located at 1075 Stewart Ave., is the 10th Bristal in Nassau County. Rent at the facility starts at $6,500 a month, and includes meals and services.
“Over the last two decades The Bristal name has defined high quality assisted living and has become synonymous with providing the best care available for our loved ones who choose to no longer live on their own, or for those who need a little extra help,” said Maryellen McKeon, senior vice president of operations. “I am proud of the quality of life that we bring to each resident at The Bristal and I am so pleased that we are able to offer our services to loving and devoted families across Long Island.”

The Bristal at Bethpage has 152 apartments, which includes 40 apartments located in the Reflections Memory Care neighborhood, which is dedicated to providing care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related disorders.
According to Bristal, 29 percent of Long Island residents are 55 and older. Long Island has a higher share of senior citizens than other suburban New York communities.

The Bristal Assisted Living has communities in East Meadow, East Northport, Garden City, Holtsville, Jericho, Lake Grove, Lake Success, Lynbrook, Manhattan, Massapequa, Mount Sinai, North Hills, North Woodmere, Sayville, West Babylon and Westbury.
