Carey Tops MacArthur, Ends Generals' Season

The MacArthur High School football team lost to Carey Friday 48-13 to end the Generals' season.

It was a three-headed rushing attack for Carey that led the way, as Conor Colasurdo, Matt Robison and Nick Spillane combined for 228 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

Carey jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but MacArthur answered on a Jimmy Kelleher 54-yard pass to Jared Wolfe. The lead was cut to one, but that was the closest the Generals would come. Carey outscored them 28-0 in the next two quarters to put the game away.

Carmine Criscione added a 3-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter for MacArthur.
