Cops: 3 Robbed, Hit Teen with Car in Levittown
The trio robbed an acquaintance in Levittown on their way home from Jones Beach this weekend, police said.

Three people from Hicksville and Levittown face charges after robbing and beating a teen who had hitched a ride home from Jones Beach Saturday, according to Nassau County Police.
At 5:55 p.m., the 18-year-old victim was riding home from Jones Beach with the three acquaintances, who began asking for money, police said. When she refused, the driver pulled over on Loring Road in Levittown and all three began punching her in the head, cops said. They stole $200 in cash and a TD Bank card from her, officials said.
As the victim tried to escape, the driver pulled up several feet and struck her, police said. The woman suffered a fracture to her right foot and bruising to her right arm, cops said. She also reported “substantial pain” in her face and head as a result of the beating, cops said.
