Cops: Woman Tried to Use Stolen Cards in Roosevelt Field

The woman tried to buy items in two stores this weekend, police said.

A Queens woman faces charges after trying to use fraudulent credit cards in two stores at Roosevelt Field Mall Sunday, according to Nassau County Police.

Officers were alerted to suspicious credit card incidents at the mall at 4:20 p.m., cops said. Responders witnessed Petrie Rice, 43, try to buy items at Pandora and The Pink Store, police said.

Rice was taken into custody and was found with several fraudulent cards, officials said. She was charged with 15 counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument and will be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
