Crime Report, Pt. I: Stolen Jewelry, Cars Damaged

A look at recent crime in Levittown.

The following info. was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

- On June 26, a window was broken on a car parked on Shepard Lane. 

- On June 26, a radio was stolen from an auto on Mill Lane.

- On June 27, wallet and credit cards were reported stolen on Hempstead Turnpike. 

- On June 30, dents to an auto were reported on Grey Lane.

- On July 2, a Vox DVD player, a Nikon camera and a lens from an auto were stolen on Coppersmith Road.

- On July 3,  a front tire were slashed on a car on Andover Lane.

- On July 3, assorted jewelry was stolen from N. Newbridge Road. 

- On July 7, the first floor window of a home on Hickory Lane was opened with no reported loss.
