Crime Report, Pt. II: Residential Burglary in Bethpage, Hicksville Robberies
A look at recent crime outside of Levittown.

The following info. was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.
Bethpage
- On June 26, a radio was stolen from an auto on Columbia Street.
- On June 28, an 18K gold bracelet was stolen from a residence on Devon Road.
- On July 2, a car window was shattered on Avoca Avenue.
- On July 2, a residential burglary was reported on Broadway. DVDs and Xbox controllers were reported stolen.
- On July 5, a debit card was stolen on S. 3rd Street.
- On July 5, a wallet was reported stolen on Hempstead Turnpike.
Hicksville
- On June 27, a Bloomingdale credit card and cash was stolen on Alling Street.
- On June 28, a front tire was slashed on Twin Lawns Avenue.
- On June 28, text books and a computer bag was stolen from a car on McKinley Avenue.
- On June 29, a catalytic converter was stolen on W. Barclay Street and Newbridge Road.
- On July 1, a wallet, cash, credit cards and license, PBA card, laptop bag, checks, CDs and scripts from a car were stolen on Beacon Lane.
- On July 1, 10 to 15 bottles of Oxycodone were stolen on S. Broadway.
- On July 1, four subjects approached a victim and demanded prescription drugs. The subjects took the victims cell phone, polo hat, sunglasses, cash and the drug Clonazepam.
- On July 3, personal checks were stolen on Hunters Lane.
- On July 4, cash was stolen through an unlocked rear door on Broadway.
- On July 6, a subject punched a victim and demanded money on Duffy Avenue.
- On July 7, a laptop, and two large screen TVs were stolen through a rear bedroom window at a home on Harnat Ct.
