Crime Report, Pt. II: 70 Cases of Beer Stolen, Fraudulent Charge Reported

A look at recent crime in the Levittown area, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. 

Hicksville

-  On Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m., a bank card was stolen on Home Ln.

- Sometime between Jan. 29 and Oct. 6, a mattress was stolen from Sleepy's headquarters. 

- On Oct. 21 at 1:45 p.m., 30 cases of Heineken, 30 cases of Corona and 10 cases of Guinness beer was stolen from Hicksville Beer & Soda. 

- On Oct. 17 at 4 a.m., fraudulent charges were reported by a resident on South Oyster Bay Rd.

- On Oct. 21 at 10:19 p.m., assorted groceries were stolen from Stop & Shop. 

- Sometime between 10 a.m. on Oct. 4 and 1 p.m. on Oct. 6, a Hicksville fire and police badge was stolen from a car on Division Ave. 

- Sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Oct. 21, license plates were stolen from a car on Waters Ave. 

- Sometime between Sept. 19 and 21, cash was stolen on Woodbury Rd. 

- Sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 22, cash was stolen on Liszt St. 

- Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 5 a.m. on Oct. 21, a 2010 Nissan was stolen at MTLR Corp. 

Bethpage

- On Oct. 22, cash was reported stolen at Briarcliffe College. 

- Sometime between Oct. 18 and Oct. 21, a security system was stolen at P&P Paper in Old Bethpage.
